A Little Sad
I was excited to hear the nominations for the Oscar's yesterday and at 3:30 my time I tuned in and watched the announcements live in CA on the website. Technology is great. While I was watching the announcements I realized that I have no idea who many of the nominees were much less the movies that were selected for best picture.
I am not a movie buff, but I did keep up with things and try and pretty much watch anything that came my way. I enjoy all different types of movies, with the exception of super-hero, sci-fi and some victorian period films. In South Africa movies are cheap here so was looking forward to watching anything and if I didn't like I didn't feel too bad walking out after paying $3. But with cheap tickets comes less movies and if they come at all they usually come months later.
With that said - I haven't a clue about movies anymore. Any tips, suggestions, or don't go see it's are welcomed. I did see August Rush and loved it, and I am seeing The Bucket List this weekend and excited because I am proud to admit that I love Jack Nicholson in anything.

I saw a great movie recently - 3:10 to Yuma. You can read my thoughts on my blog :) It's a western and it's really good... That's not in the theater here, so I don't know if it would be there either. I haven't been to the theater in a while myself. :/
Okay I know you are talking movies but just to let you know TV-wise to steer clear of Prison Break. HA!
