D-Day

There is finally an answer to the question...I am departing May 22nd of 2007 for South Africa. Plane ticket is purchased, agreement is signed and there is no turning back; not that I want to. I mean, look who I will get to visit on a regular basis:

I have quit a bit to accomplish before May 22nd: obtain a visa, purchase insurance, see some family, figure out what books I will want to read over the next year and attend my cousins wedding in Nags Head. Any tips, suggestions or thoughts are welcome for this transition.

Starting now and during my time there I will be accepting donations in order to complete and fulfill my commitment as a volunteer with Impact Africa. If you are interested in donating one-time, monthly or whenever you are able to; there are multiple ways to do so and can begin now.
