The Purposed Trek

Keep me safe, O God, I've run for dear life to you. I say to God, "Be my Lord!" Without you, nothing makes sense.

In Honor Of...

NOTE: This post was supposed to take place on September 7th, but I was in the Dominican scuba diving so I couldn't post it. Angela Rose Hess. Happy Birthday to one of my dearest friends. Angela you are an amazing person and I just wanted to take this posting to tell everyone about your heart and how honored I am to have a friend like you in my life. You have inspired me in so many ways...to not only let everything go and pursue my dreams, but to walk into situations of the unknown with such grace. I so appreciate you Ange, your honesty, your laugh, your touch, your heart and your friendship. Even though you are so far away, I feel like our friendship has increased since your move to Angola. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug and kiss, but I just have to remind myself that it is only a little over a month away and I get to spend almost 2 full weeks with you in Africa. It will be 10 months that have gone by and we have only spoken 3 times, seen each other...zero times, but emailed our hearts concerns, passions, cries and with the utmost honesty. Thanks for being a safe place for me and for being you. I love you dearly and I hope that you have an amazing Angolan Birthday. I can't wait to see you. Who else can I go camping in my car with?
